A sewing pattern for one of my favourite designs, the simple yet versatile Box Top!
I chose this design to release as a sewing pattern for the way this garment suits all ages, and all shapes and sizes.
Easily modified to lengthen or shorten, or hack the basic pattern to create a smock top or dress.
Full instructions on how to personalise these options are included in the pattern.
You decide where the waist is created, and how long you'd like the gathered skirt for a dress or smock top.
A generously sized top that drapes beautifully on the body, with a cap sleeve, a crew neckline, and a narrow hem.
There is no hand sewing required in the construction of this garment.
This pattern is sold as a multi size printed paper pattern. Please note the garment is intended to be a loose generous fit to allow for drape. Garment measurements are provided below and on the pattern to assist you in choosing your best size.

Extra small/small
To fit bust 92 - 98cm
Actual garment measures 52cm from side seam to side seam, and length from shoulder to hem is 64cm.
Small/medium
To fit bust 98cm - 114cm
Actual garment measures 62cm from side seam to side seam, and length from shoulder to hem is 64cm.
Large/extra large
To fit bust 114cm - 124cm
Actual garment measures 69cm from side seam to side seam, and length from shoulder to hem is 64cm.
