I describe myself as a sometimes quilter.
I made my first quilt from dressmaking scraps of Liberty cotton lawn, and was immediately hooked on the process.
Without any formal tuition in quilt making, I've sewn my way through several quilts, allowing the fabrics I work with to inform the process.
A kind of colour and pattern play!
With a mixture of two block designs and a simple border of squares, using many floral fabrics, this quilt is can be as bright and colourful as you like – informal in style. Inspired by those precious Winter flowering plants that bring cheer to the colder months of the year.
In my version of this quilt, each block contains at least one Liberty floral fabric.
A simple block design, perfect for a large variety of scraps. This pattern has been written to create a quilt to fit a double size bed, instructions are included to make your quilt larger if desired

Approximately 3 metres of mixed scrap fabric,each piece big enough to yield 4 or 5 squares approximately 5" x 5"
