Providore Shirt - sewing pattern

This loose fitting, peasant style top is intended to be oversized in fit.

Choose from two versions.
View A has a front and back yoke with both the front and back
body of the shirt gathered and attached to the yokes.
View B is reversible, with a plain side and a side with a yoke that has the body of the shirt
gathered and attached to the yoke. Wear this view either with the gathers to the front or the back!

Both views have a cuff sleeve, generous length, and a slightly boat neckline.
The neckline is finished with bias.

Size guide
Please note – when measuring your bust, measure ‘high bust’ which is not the
fullest part of your bust, but more under your armpits. This is to give the most accurate
indication of your best size due to the oversized nature of this design.
Extra small
to fit bust 90cm - 96cm
Finished garment measures 47cm from bodice side seam to side seam at high bust
(just below armpit), length from neckline at shoulder to hem 70cm

Small
to fit bust 96cm - 104cm
finished garment measures 52cm from bodice side seam to side seam at high bust
(just below armpit), length from neckline at shoulder to hem 70cm

Medium
to fit bust 104cm - 112cm
finished garment measures 57cm from bodice side seam to side seam at high bust
(just below armpit), length from neckline at shoulder to hem 70cm

Large
to fit bust 112cm - 120cm
finished garment measures 62cm from bodice side seam to side seam at high bust
(just below armpit), length from neckline at shoulder to hem 70cm

X Large
to fit bust 120cm - 128cm
finished garment measures 67cm from bodice side seam to side seam at high bust
(just below armpit), length from neckline at shoulder to hem 70cm

XX Large
to fit bust 128cm - 138cm
finished garment measures 72cm from bodice side seam to side seam at high bust
(just below armpit), length from neckline at shoulder to hem 70cm

Fabric requirements
View A – front & back yokes
115cm – 135cm – all sizes – 2 metres
135cm – 150cm – sizes XS, S, M, L – 1.75 metres
135cm – 150cm – sizes XL, XXL – 2 metres

View B – reversible, yoke on one side only
115cm – 135cm – all sizes – 1.8 metres
135cm – 150cm – all sizes – 1.8 metres

12mm bias binding, sewing thread to match, pins, scissors.
Recommended fabrics
Light to mid weight fabrics with good drape such as linen, cotton linen blends, cotton voile,
cotton lawn, silks, rayon.
